Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben Modi, who passed away today morning on 30.12.22, was cremated in Gandhinagar along with her brothers (family). Late Hiraben Modi was about 100 years old. His 100-year-old mother was admitted for treatment at “United Nations Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Center” in Ahmedabad. Died at Riches Center at around 3.30 am. There is her Petrak house in Raisan village near Gandhinagar, where she used to live. Heeraben Modi was born on June 18, 1923, in Vadnagar, Mehsana, Gujarat. They have five sons and one daughter, in which PM Modi is the third of six children. She lived with the prime minister’s younger brother Pankaj Modi at Raisan village near Gandhinagar.

Shri Modiji tweeted on this sad moment, “A glorious century rests at the feet of the Lord… In Maa, I have always felt the trinity that includes the journey of an ascetic, symbolized by the Mother. A selfless Karmayogi and a life devoted to values.
