Ingredients – 

4 to 6 fig leaves, pure mustard oil, a piece of aloe vera leaf, pure turmeric powder, and cotton strips.

Method of preparation – 

First of all, take out the inner part of the aloe vera leaf. If you want, grate it on a fine sieve and extract its paste. Put 3 to 4 spoons of paste in a bowl, add 2 spoons of turmeric powder and 3 to 4 spoons of mustard oil and mix it well to make a thick paste. Beat all the ingredients well till the coating is ready. Keep it for some time after the coating is ready. Now put the pot (tawa) on the gas and turn on the gas on low heat. Now heat the leaves of the figures lightly, after applying mustard oil on both sides of the leaves, heat it from both sides. If there is pain in your knee, keep the paste there apply light hot leaves on the paste and tie a cotton bandage on it. It is okay to apply it before sleeping at night if you have enough time. It should be kept at least for two to three hours. Do this process two to three times a week.

In winter, especially the elderly should take a bath with hot water only. This gives relief to your joints and muscles. Take a hot water bath only after your body temperature becomes normal.

11 Exercise and Yoga-

 Exercise is necessary for winter- do exercise or yoga according to your physical ability. Waking up early in the morning and walking is very beneficial.

Practising Anulom-Vilom gives relief from arthritis, joint pain, and swelling even in old age. By doing these two Yogasanas daily for 15 minutes, knee pain and joint pain can be treated.

12 Drink more water-

My thirst is less in winter but still drink more and more water. Try to keep the body hydrated. Doing this will reduce muscle pain.
